DESS (Dr. Ebbetts) U.S. Capitol / Apple Stereo Albums (23 Cd's) Box Set
Hace más de una década, a las ediciones de los discos piratas de de The Beatles, se le sumaba una novedad; y es que esa novedad era una serie de ediciones de toda la discografía de The Beatles hechas por "Dr. Ebbetts". Lo notable de estas ediciones no oficiales" era el excelente sonido que tenían a comparación de las ediciones oficiales, lo que hizo que miles de coleccionistas y seguidores del cuarteto de Liverpool las buscaran. Como todo buen fan de Los Beatles él jamás estuvo conforme con las diciones en CD de los discos originales, así que por una vez en el año 2000 abrió sus vinilos, los transfirió a una matriz digital y los remasterizó para luego distribuirlos por cuenta propia en ediciones estrictamente limitadas con reproducciones fieles al arte gráfico original bajo el pseudónimo del Dr. Ebbetts o DESS (Doctor Ebbetts Sound System); versiones estas que dejan por el suelo a los CD’s oficiales de EMI y Capitol.Su trabajo ha tenido tanto éxito que varios sellos piratas han imitado sus métodos (Millenium, Mirror Spock, Fabulous Sound Lab) y aunque todos han obtenidos resultados notables, los discos de Ebbetts siguen siendo los mejores por su habilidad para capturar en CD la calidez del sonido analógico.(fuente: https://discosconmuchopolvo.blogspot.com/)
